The department of Vyakarana of KaviKulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University has been actively running under the Faculty of Vedic Studies since 2003-04. To impart the knowledge of Sanskrit Grammar, and Linguistics, the dept. has designed many courses i.e. Prakshastri, Shastri, Acharya, Vishishtacharya and Vidyavaridhi. Being established in central India, The University and the Dept. attract many students from all over India to its campus every year. The Dept. is very much aware of its social responsibilities. To make a bridge between the University and the Society the Dept. organizes various public lectures, seminars, workshops, spoken Sanskrit camps which attract the public to be associated with the University. The Dept. has got very scholarly faculties who perform their duties with utmost sincerity for the maximum benefit of the students, University and society as well. The use of traditional and modern teaching methodologies in teaching Sanskrit Vyakarana by its skilled faculties prepares students to face challenges in the future.

• To initiate promotional activities related to the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary study and research in Veda and Vedic sciences, which can attract the international community.
• To propagate the traditional and authentic method of chanting Veda mantras.
• To document and preserve the tradition of Vedic chanting with Prakruti and Vikruti Pathas.
• To organize seminars, workshops, lectures, short-term courses, and certificate courses to propagate the significance of Vedic wisdom among the general public.
• To publish important and unpublished Manuscripts of Veda.
