Kavi Kulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University
Ratnagiri Sub-Centre
The first official sub-centre of this only Sanskrit University in Maharashtra, located at central part of Ratnagiri city. Initially, the sub-centre has taken shape in an area of more than 20000 square feet, equipped with computer lab, digital classroom, Yoga room and many other facilities. This sub-centre will be the Contact centre of the university, Open and distance learning centre, Research centre as well as educational centre.

Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University has many distinct features among Sanskrit Universities in the country. K.K.S.U. RSC in its vision and mission statements clearly defines its areas, functions and research focus.

- To encourage Sanskrit studies and research and allied subjects in the Konkan region.
- To blend the tradition of Konkan with modernity through Sanskrit and to preserve culture and tradition of Konkan.
Mission
- To provide higher education opportunities to the students of Konkan region and nearby districts.
- To make the Devabhoomi of Konkan, an Education Hub through Sanskrit.
- To create a new platform for research scholars.
- To develop this centre as a self-sufficient centre through the promotion of online courses, professional courses, and local support.
