Dr. Parag Joshi is the Head of the Department of Modern Languages who took charge of Head of the department from July 2020. He is working as Assistant Professor in department of Sanskrit Language and Literature since 2010. He pursued his higher education from RSVP Tirupati and obtained Ph.D degree from KKSU under the guidance of Prof. Nanda Puri. His area of Specialization is Classical & Modern Sanskrit Literature, Poetics and Indian Psychology.He has authored 7 books, one DVD and more than 45 research articles are on his credit. He has completed 1 major research project and 3 projects are ongoing. He was honored with 'Yuvaratna' puraskar and ‘Prajanabharati Yuavakavi Puraskar’. He was also felicitated by Delhi Sanskrit Academy, Sahitya Vihar, Nagpur for his Sanskrit poems.
